Top Pages Metrics
Understanding your most visited pages
Top Pages shows which pages on your site receive the most pageviews. This helps you understand what content resonates most with your audience.
What are Top Pages?
Top Pages displays a ranked list of your website pages sorted by the number of pageviews they received during the selected time period.
How is it calculated?
Every time a visitor lands on a page, we record a pageview. The Top Pages metric aggregates all pageviews for each unique URL path.
Use Cases
- ✓Identify your most popular content
- ✓Understand which pages drive the most traffic
- ✓Optimize high-traffic pages for conversions
- ✓Discover which content topics interest your audience most
Pro Tips
- 💡Compare top pages across different time periods to spot trends
- 💡Check bounce rate on top pages - high traffic with high bounce may indicate poor user experience
- 💡Use top pages data to inform your content strategy
- 💡Monitor changes after publishing new content
- 💡"View all" opens every page, not only the top 10: search it and sort it by pageviews or visitors
- 💡The "Scroll & time" tab of the same panel shows how far down each page is read and how long it stays on screen
