Share a read-only dashboard

A link to your site's traffic for a client, a partner or your team, without giving them an account. On every plan.

Where

In your site's dashboard, Settings (next to Goals and Funnels), "Share link": create it, copy it, regenerate it, revoke it and add a password.

What the link shows

  • The summary cards: page views, visitors, bounce rate, visit duration, views per visit and top page, with the change from the previous period.
  • The traffic chart, by hour, day, week or month.
  • Top, entry and exit pages.
  • Channels, referrers and UTM tags (source, medium, campaign, term and content).
  • Countries, devices, browsers and operating systems.
  • The same period selector as the dashboard, and the filters by those panels, with is, is not, contains and does not contain. Filters by event property are not available. Days follow your site's time zone.
  • Days you imported from Plausible, as on the dashboard: in the figures without filters, and left out with one.

What it does not show

  • Nothing from the store, revenue or payments, nor SaaS subscriptions.
  • No goals, conversions, funnels or paths, no AI traffic, outbound links, downloads or 404 errors, no scroll depth or time on page, and no live map.
  • Each panel shows its first rows, as on the dashboard, but there is no "View all", nor saved segments.
  • No settings, nor anything of your account. It cannot change anything.
  • The link does not open the API or the MCP server.

Texts your visitors write

Page addresses, referrers and UTM tags are written by whoever visits your site (or sends an event to it), and whoever has the link sees them as they arrived. If an address of your site carries something private, it will be visible too. The page shows them as plain text, never as links, so the link cannot be used to publish links.

  • It is shown once, when it is made: only a fingerprint of it is kept. If you lose it, regenerate it.
  • Regenerating makes a new link and the old one stops working at once. The password stays as it was.
  • Revoking stops it at once. A revoked link reads exactly like one that never existed.
  • Settings shows when it was last opened.
  • Whoever has the link sees the figures: share it as you would a password. It is not shown to search engines (noindex) and is not in our sitemap.
  • One link per site.

Password

  • Optional, at least 8 characters. Send it apart from the link.
  • Without it nothing is shown, not even the name of the site.
  • After typing it, that browser tab keeps access for up to 8 hours.
  • Changing it asks everyone for the new one; removing it opens the link to anyone who has it.
  • After 10 wrong passwords from one address in 15 minutes, that address waits; after 100 for the same link, everyone does.
